Our History
Hi! We’re the Coffman’s. But, in reality, it’s more than just us.
We are a family, a community of believers who proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. Some would call us Missionaries, and while they are not wrong, but we prefer to say we’re just available. Available to proclaim the Gospel to whoever, whenever, in whatever circumstances. Wether, we are going hut to hut in Ethiopia or preaching in maximum security prison in South Africa. Join us as we partner with God to bring heaven to earth.
We seek to imitate Paul as he became all things to all people that by any means lead them to the Messiah.
Mark and Faith met on the mission field in Mexico in 1991 building houses with the Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Over the last 30 years we have partnered with various evangelistic efforts around the world working, ministering and starting home churches. We come from many generations of servants of God evangelizing and preaching the kingdom of God for the past 100 years
Our Current Work
We spend half the year working our full time professions in Los Angeles, California, and spent the remainder of the year doing ministry, most of which we spend in Cape Town, South Africa. While we self-fund most of our ministry opportunities, there is a limit to what we are able to do with our personal incomes. Over the year people have asked to take part and contribute to what we are doing with God. we believe the word, “it is indeed better to give than receive.” Any and all funds go straight to projects, wether that’s a worship night, gas to drive to a prison to preach, or an evangelistic adventure camp with high schoolers.
Our Emphasis
Our preaching could be summed up in the words of Paul in Acts 17, “That they should seek the Lord, if only they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being.“ Our God is knowable, if only we’d seek and find. The Good News is that men and women can be forgiven and reconciled to God through the sacrifice of Jesus, receiving a new reality to live and walk in. We’ve had the privilege of sharing this message with tribesmen, witchdoctors, lifelong Buddhists and everyone in between.
“Turn to God: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
