‘Draw Near’ Bible Classes

South Africa is a Church adjacent nation, where the majority of the population are familiar with Christianity. Unfortunately, just as many in the US, few know what it looks like to know and walk with God firsthand.

This was our heart with our ‘Draw Near’ Class. Every December school holiday we host a 4hr class where we discuss what it can look like to draw near to God in everyday life. We feed, play games, share testimonies, teach them how to journal, and spend time looking at the Scriptures. we round off the day with a song writing competition based on the verses we discussed.

Youth Camps

In partnership with a local farmer and his family, we host youth camps on his costal farm during school holiday. Kids all come from the local schools. We play games, have competitions, do nature walks to the nearby seal colony, teach rock climbing, and have Christ-centered talks and debriefs. We always present the gospel and give an opportunity for them to make a decision to live in pursuit of God.

Preaching the Good News

Whatever door opens we try to the best of our ability to say yes. We often open with a story or a testimony and round off with the message of  the Gospel. The Good News is that men and women can be forgiven and reconciled to God through the sacrifice of Jesus, receiving a new reality to live and walk in. God has opened doors for us to preach the Good News in schools, prisons, streets, rehabilitation centers, and youth groups.
